Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP): A LOW INCOME Spay/Neuter Program for residents of Cherokee County, NC

How you can qualify for SNAP is as easy as 1, 2, 31. You must be a Cherokee County resident
2. You must provide us Proof Of Income Document when you sign up 3. You must provide us a copy of VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID, DRIVERS LICENSE, STATE ID OR PASSPORT Where to sign up:Our Thrift Store at 3000 US HWY 64 West, Murphy, NC 28906. PROOF OF INCOMEAt the time of sign up at our Thrift Store, you will need to provide ID and Proof of Income Documents to qualify for this very low cost (All client information is confidential.)

Costs WHEN you qualify:
Dogs ONLY: $50 Cats ONLY: $30 (Rabies Vaccination, if needed, is ONLY $10 charge to be paid on the day of surgery) Don't forget, when you come to sign up you must bring one of the forms mentioned as Proof Of Income and a valid government issued ID, Drivers License, State ID or Passport.
This program is subsidized by the State of NC. In order to provide these very low rates, we need to follow their rules and collect the documents they require in order to qualify participants. Each person that qualifies must be at or below the HHS Poverty Guidelines for 2024
