Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, managing a small close knit team.
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS, Must have clean drivers license 
Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily workflow of the warehouse; schedules and organizes staff to ensure proper staffing of all shifts.
• Communication with management and team members on and off-site locations.
• Ensures the receiving process of incoming items are implemented.
• Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.
• Executes maintenance activities when needed

Ensure that all team members are properly trained and compliant with standard processes and procedures.

• Oversight of building and equipment maintenance.
• Researches, identifies, and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.
• Attends and participates in regularly scheduled and impromptu meetings.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
• Identify areas to improve quality and initiate problem-solving activities to improve operational performance.
• Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates in assigned duties.
• Motivate staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

Experience:

• At least three years of related experience required; supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and stay on your feet for long periods of time.
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the warehouse
• Available to work Saturdays and Mondays if needed

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
